1st created in 1977 By Neville Whitehead. SASE is possibly the 1st semi acoustic electric upright bass invented.

•The SASE is always noted for having a sincere acoustic tone, loved by players, audiences and engineers alike for their sound, style, practicality & ease of maintenance.
•You can play it loud on stage and it will not feedback, you can achieve great tone with a bow and you can play it unplugged and maintain acoustic responsiveness ( useful for small quiet rehearsals and practicing with volume restrictions).
•You can tour SASE around the world and it wont break your bank with excess baggage fees.
